Parish Council meetings generally take place at 7 o'clock on the 2nd Monday of each month (dates shown in the meetings calendar) in the Onyx Room at the rear of Lubenham Village Hall.
Each meeting begins with 'Matters Raised by the Public' when members of the public present may make a statement or ask a question. These matters may not be discussed immediately since they will not have appeared on the Agenda; but the Council will take note of them and, if necessary, add the subjects to the Agenda of the following meeting. Issues for meetings can also be raised in writing to the council when it may be possible to add the item to the Agenda if received in time for the following meeting.
If there is a topic that you would like discussed at any meeting you must let the Clerk know - in writing or by email. The Agenda deadline for each meeting will close 10 days prior to the meeting and is published on the Meetings Calendar page of this web site and the Council's notice boards in the week before the meeting. A matter that does not appear on this Agenda cannot be discussed until the following meeting.
The Minutes of the previous meeting, once ratified, are published on the Meeting calendar. An informal account of matters discussed at this month's meeting, written by one of the Councillors, will be published in the Lubenham Newsletter.
The Annual Council Meeting takes place each year in May. Currently Councillor Diana Cook remains Chairman. Councillor details appear on the Councillor page of the website.

Due to the expiry of government regulations which allowed Parish Council meetings to take place via zoom future meetings will resume in person at the village hall. However, due to the pandemic the parish council will only hold in person meetings in accordance with current guidance and when it feels it is safe to do so. Meetings may therefore not be able to take every month at present so please check the website for dates and agendas. More »
