Vacancy for Parish Clerk

PARISH CLERK - PART-TIME

This is an interesting and varied post, worked mainly from home, supporting an active, community focused Parish Council.

Duties include producing and publishing meeting agendas, producing minutes, liaising with outside bodies, actioning the Council's decisions, managing the finances and dealing with correspondence.

A computer and printer is supplied as is a mobile phone.

Hours up to 40 per month (variable). Salary to NJC rates according to experience.

Preferably CiLCA (Certificate in Local Council Administration) qualified or working towards the qualification enabling the Council to retain its position as a Quality Parish Council.

Councillor Vacancies

Lubenham Parish Council has a vacancy for a Parish Councillor. The vacancy will be filled by co-option.

To qualify, a person must be a British subject, over 18 years old and an elector, must reside within Lubenham Parish, or within 3 miles of it, or occupy as owner or tenant any land or premises therein, or have their principal or only place of work there, and must not be disqualified from holding office as a Councillor .
